Contract Design are nearing the successful completion of the topside & jacket detail design for a UK sector offshore windfarm substation. The substation will integrate the power generated by the 56 offshore turbines and export it via a single subsea cable to shore. The electricity generated by the offshore turbines will be sufficient to power 330,000 UK households annually.
Contract Design has applied all of their experience of topside and jacket design accumulated over the past 30 years to deliver a cost effective, practical, fabrication friendly design.
To accommodate a growing in-house engineering team CD recently relocated to smart new open plan offices at Bulman House near Regent Centre.
The new offices were purchased to provide a better long term work environment for the business and with more than 40 CAD workstations offer more flexibility and capacity for all of CD’s Clients.
